Afternoon Club The Afternoon Club is a social club meeting on a Monday afternoon from 2 - 4 pm from September to May. It is open to anyone but its members are mostly of the older generation, but what is older?!! The activities include a bridge group where bridge is played with the guidance of very experienced instructors; a craft group where knitting, sewing, crochet and handcraft making are enjoyed; and a group who play board games such as Scrabble and Rummikub. The club offers friendship and fellowship in a very informal setting where the tea/coffee break is also an important time in the afternoon. A warm welcome awaits all. Minnie Chalmers
